This place gave me a safe place to get and stay Clean and begin my foundation in Narcotics Anonymous after being asked to leave and not come back at another Alano Club the Live and Let Live Alano Club gave me a safe place for me to be me in and today at 26 yrs Clean I do as much as I can to ensure that we are around in the same way as the club was then now.
They also provide holiday potluck dinner for anyone to join in. I don't like the Church meetings that are too 'Preachy". I am shocked and amazed that nobody "hit on my son or tried to take advantage of him. Statistics indicate that a Newcomer is 3 times more likely to stay sober with a Sponsor.
